An Overview of the Job Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Fun & Active family as a Sales Consultant.

As a motivated self-starter, you will be responsible for closing deals for our company, building relationships with our clients, and generating leads.

This role will see you using excellent communication and negotiation skills to generate revenue for the business, working towards our mission to improve school playgrounds and community areas across the country.


Key Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with our clients by scheduling meetings, delivering presentations, and providing information about our products or services.
  • Sourcing clients and developing relationships.
  • Provision of new business opportunities for the company.
  • Client retention following up jobs, assessing feedback etc.
  • Responding personally to the customer's queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensuring consistent knowledge of ongoing projects.
  • Building a strong indepth knowledge of our offering and industry.
  • Consistently achieving weekly and monthly targets (based on activity and profit).
  • Managing the companies CRM software to ensure accurate records are maintained.
  • Negotiating contracts and pricing with clients, handling objections, and working with other members of the sales team to ensure successful deal closures.
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Attending and representing the business at different trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Producing high standard playground plans as part of our clients' proposal package.
  • Occasional competitor research to inspire new ideas for expanding our offering.
  • Any other reasonable request by the Sales Manager or Director.

What you'll need

  • English and Maths GCSE (A*C) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales or related role
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software

Salary
£25,000 - £35,000 OTE


Hours
Full time, Permanent

42.5 hours per week with 30 minute lunch break

8am - 5pm Weekdays

28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
