The Behaviour Mentor Role:

A permanent, fulltime position in a wellreputed Special School for Autism (08:00 16:00 or 08:30 16:30)
Playing an active role in managing the behaviour of students with ASC and SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis.
Delivering strategised and ongoing behavioural and emotional interventions.
Participating in daily debriefs and planning sessions with the whole school body and Leadership Team.
Working closely with Educational Psychologists, Curriculum Leads, Speech and Language Therapists, and other multiagency staff.
Support students to develop resilience, independence and emotional regulation, both with their learning and in forming positive relationships with peers and staff.
