Licensing processing Officer & Senior Licensing Processing Officer (Licensing and Business Support Team)

The Challenge

The Trading Standards and Environmental Health Service is recruiting for a Processing officer and a Senior Licensing Processing Officer within the Council's Housing and Environment Directorate.

We welcome applicants from varying levels of experience but will reserve the Senior post for an applicant with licensing experience.

Purpose of role

To provide highquality frontline customer
To provide effective licensing administration and support
To support and deputise for the Team Leader Processing and Business Support (For Senior role).
To provide advice to other team members in the teams of knowledge of licensing regulation and related administrative processes (For Senior role)
Knowledge of licensing regulation and related administrative processes (desirable)
Ability to support and give guidance to other less experienced team members (For Senior role).
Ability to write procedural guidelines for
Ability to quickly learn licensing regulation and related administrative
Ability to meet targets and work
Ability to work
Ability to follow
Good customer relations and mediation
Ability to effectively use
Excellent communication
Ability to mentor, guide and support new recruits and the other team members.
