ShipArt Warehouse Assistant - Colnbrook Office

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 10.00am - 7.00pm

Lunch break: 1 hour (Typically can be taken as one full hour or half hour for lunch and 2 x 15-minute breaks)

Line managers:
Susan Howlett and Danny Hocking (+ Steve Moxon-Riedlin, working remotely)

Basic computer and keyboard skills required and a forklift licence an advantage. Applicant needs to be physically fit as there is some lifting and carrying involved.

To provide assistance to ShipArt team at all times in all aspects, including the following:

Checking and photographing inbound and outbound artwork
prior to packing and after packing. Storing photographic evidence of packing (also supplied by our packers) and documenting packing lists and instructions. Check weighing shipments and recording dimensions.
Checking and maintaining art storage records : Locating and recording items for storage, updating the storage records.
Ensuring that the art storage area and art storage and packing rooms are kept tidy.
Assisting with unloading and loading of art collections and deliveries. Ensuring that loaded artworks on our own vehicles are adequately packed and protected for movement.
Labelling, Loading and unloading artworks to and from the packers.
Softpacking artworks
Preparing print distributions, labelling, rolling and tubing or flatpacking prints
Occasionally assisting on 2 man deliveries / collections
