Band Saw Operative

Pay Rate:
Up to £12 depending on experience


Hours: 2pm - 10pm Mon - Fri

Are you keen to develop and grow your career in the engineering world? Do you have a flair for the manufacturing/engineering industry and want to progress your experience?

Comton Group are pleased to be recruiting for a Band Saw Operator on behalf of our manufacturing client in the heart of Gateshead


This position will suit any enthusiastic individuals looking to develop any current experience within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Operating band saw
  • Operating overhead crane
  • Understanding engineering drawings
  • Working with variety of Metals
  • Ensuring maintenance of equipment
  • Working as part of a close team

Skills/Experience desirable:


  • Experience within the engineering industry
  • Operation of band saws
  • Overhead crane experience is preferable
  • Ability to read basic Engineering Drawings
  • Able to travel to Gateshead
  • Ambition and desire to grow & progress within the company

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £12.00 per hour
