Key Responsibilities:

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, your role will be to support the classroom teacher and provide assistance to students in a primary school setting


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom activities.
  • Providing oneonone or small group support to students who may need extra help.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assisting with classroom management and discipline as needed.
  • Participating in team meetings and sharing ideas for enhancing the learning experience.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all students.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Passion for working with young children and helping them learn and grow.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Basic understanding of educational principles and practices.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
