We're currently looking for an experienced Events Team Lead to support our client
- an American business software company for a 12-month contract, offering a salary of up to £74,050 per annum, pro rata (PAYE).


Reason for hiring:
Parental Cover.


What you'll do:

  • Overall planning and execution of meetings or special events for an organization.
  • Coordinating all amenities and accommodations including site selection, food, transportation, and audiovisual equipment.
  • Managing event administration including budget planning, forecasting, and postevent analysis.
  • Working crossfunctionally with wider teams across the business including; marketing and sales.
  • Ensuring that all events align with business priorities, objectives, and key messages.
  • Managing a team of 34.

Requirements:


  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Demonstrable experience in working to a high standard within an events or hospitality setting.
  • The ability to interact with internal and external clients, including managing our external agencies.
  • Experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and postevent analysis
  • A proactive approach being able to 'think on your feet' and take ownership of issues that may rise.
