Description

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students
Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism
Collaborate with the lead teacher to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
Support students in their academic, social, and emotional growth
Provide oneonone or small group tutoring as needed
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment

Experience:

Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs
Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
Experience in mentoring or tutoring is a plus

As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students. You will work closely with the lead teacher to support students' educational and developmental needs. This role requires patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
