Description
My client is an established and fast paced manufacturer of air distribution systems.

They now seek an experience Production Manager to:

  • Manage the planning, coordination and control of the manufacturing process
  • Oversee the general production process from planning to despatch
  • Increase productivity whilst achieving efficiencies, producing to the right costs and maintain a high standard of quality
  • Supervise and motivate an experience production team
  • Review staff performance and identify training needs.
  • Take a hands on approach with effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies whilst promoting a learning environment for staff to reach their full potential.

You will need:

  • 3 years + experience of production management in a similar or transferable environment
  • Experience of managing 30+ staff from shop floor to supervisor level
  • Ideally, working knowledge of lean manufacturing
  • Understanding of site hygiene, technical, QA and health & safety requirements
  • Be a strong hands on Manager
  • Able to lead by example
  • Possess excellent communication skills
