Description

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently load and unload materials onto trucks or other vehicles
Operate forklifts or other heavy machinery to move materials as needed
Ensure that all loaded materials are properly secured and balanced to prevent damage during transportation
Collaborate with team members to coordinate loading schedules and prioritize tasks
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment

Must be reliable and physically fit

Have good customer service skills

Experience of the waste industry preferred

Qualifications:

Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor on a regular basis
Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for operating machinery and equipment
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in loading and unloading processes
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines
Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required
