Lockton's Real Estate team are looking for an experienced Property or Real Estate broker to join their Finchley office.

In this role as Account Handler, you will support our clients with the day to day servicing of their risks and will work across a diverse portfolio of UK based owners, asset managers, developers, property managers and funds.

  • Provide day to day servicing of a client's insurance programme to support retention and development of the business
  • Obtain quotations both or new and renewal business
  • Ensure placement of insurances for clients in accordance with Lockton strategy
  • Research, prepare and present renewal reports
  • Effectively manage the credit control processes, actively track premium payments and pursue uncollected premium, promptly escalate in line with the GREAC credit control process
  • Diligently check policy documentation in accordance with regulations and in line with Lockton procedures
  • Effectively respond and manage with queries (and to the satisfaction of the client and the market), including but not limited to changes in cover and risk
  • Respond promptly to account queries
  • Identify the risk exposures and advise on insurance and risk management solutions
  • Build and nurture close, longlasting relationships by developing a constantly expanding network of client contacts
  • Previous experience in UK Real Estate / Commercial Property insurance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and driven to deliver excellent client service
  • Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues
