SmartSec Solutions is an established services organisation with a clear and defined vision, to offer our customers a personalised service.

With our extensive range of Security services, coupled with our Reception and Concierge offering, we believe that our organisation has the right choice of solutions customers need for their security and front of house needs.

We are currently looking for a Security Supervisor for one of our sites located in central London.

  • Effective day to day management of a team of 18 security officers and supervisors
  • Manage the control room to include CCTV monitoring
  • Ensure all duties are rostered with correctly trained staff in accordance with contractual requirements
  • The preparation and submission of reports and data in line with the Account Manager's instructions
  • Attend facilities management meetings
  • Conduct yearly staff appraisals
  • Dealing with onsite contractors
  • Maintain and manage staff training records
  • Maintain a harmonious relationship with the customer, ensuring that all needs are met and a high standard of security is provided at all times
  • Coordinate with external security services
  • Diligently take and hand over every shift ensuring that a full check of the Daily Occurrence Book is carried out
  • Ensure that all contractual requirements are fulfilled and service level agreements are maintained and signed off to the satisfaction of both the Customer and Company

Successful applicants will:


  • Have proven knowledge and experience of security risk management and the ability to identify any threat to the customer's building
  • Proven experience of handling and responding to emergencies
  • Have both a SIA Security Guarding and CCTV licence
  • Have at least 2 years' experience as a site supervisor
  • Show evidence of sufficient experience as a security officer
  • Have excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Project Griffin and Argus certificates are preferred but not an essential requirement
  • Ability to successfully building relationships
  • Some understanding of Health & Safety processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.

  • Schedule:_
    Monday to Friday, 60 hours per week.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£12.33 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
