Description

Hi there We're Stotles.**:

Our mission is to unlock the potential of business and government working better, together. We'd love for you to join us on our journey.

About this Role and Why We're Hiring:

It's never been a more exciting time at Stotles. Here's why we're looking for you.
Stotles is hiring an Operations Associate as we set sail on the next phase of our company's growth. The Founders Associate is a key part of our Operations team, reporting into the COO.

This is a unique role - we're looking for someone who is an adaptable generalist at heart, with an appetite to build a career in tech. You'll be switching from administrative support, to operations coordinator, to on-the-fly logistics execution.

The role will be an ideal next step for a hungry recent graduate looking for experience running (sprinting) alongside a successful leadership team.

Success in this role is optimising for our co-founders so they can fully focus on growing and driving the business.

No two days will look the same - you can bounce from putting together vendor analysis reports, reshuffling diaries to make sure the leadership team are focused on the right things, to drafting and disseminating company-level announcements and updates.

Comp Range:
_
_ £26,000-£30,000 on a 12-18 month contract (The goal at the end of this contract is for you to transition into a full time role within the Company in functional role)_

What You'll Do:

Key responsibilities include:

-
Office and Facilities Management

  • Oversee and manage all office procedures and processes, ensuring a seamless blend of inperson and remote work environments
-
Space Planning and Optimisation

  • Manage our physical office space in London, making sure they are wellkept, safe, and welcoming for all Stotlers and visitors
-
Asset Inventory and Lifecycle Management

  • Ensure all office and remote working equipment are tracked and in optimal condition
-
Planning and Coordinating Cultural Events

  • Plan inhouse or virtual team activities, like parties, celebrations, and conferences, fostering a sense of community and collaboration across all locations
-
Administrative Support:

  • Endtoend own and manage our CEO, CPO and COO's diaries with a constantly moving, granular, dynamic schedule across a range of competing priorities and stakeholders. You'll make scheduling magic happen miraculously squeezing in extra hours into each day.
  • Actively liaise and manage all internal and external stakeholders and their expectations by prioritising meetings based on overarching business goals.
  • Be ready to jump on 'left field' tasks at a moment's notice whether that's sourcing a jacket for an unexpected formal lunch, arranging a replacement laptop that's gone on the fritz, or finding contact information for someone the CEO hasn't spoken to in years.
  • Support the leadership team with special projects to ensure smooth running of the business.
-
People and Operations

  • Support the People Team with key operational processes like payroll and onboarding

Who We're Looking For:

-
Experience

  • You are about to graduate or a recent graduate _or_ you have equivalent work or educational experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
-
Mentality

  • Flexible and adaptive: you're equally comfortable working on strategic planning and getting stuck into running daytoday operations.
  • Unafraid to say, "I don't know the answer, but I have a few ideas on how we can find out, and I'm open to learning"
  • Able to listen, think logically to solve complex problems and juggle multiple priorities at once
  • Open to feedback and happy to collaborate. Aristotle said 'the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts' and that's how we work at Stotles
  • Dependable & detailorientated. You deliver on the commitments you make to the team, from the big picture results to the nuanced details
-
Skills

  • Extremely strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines
  • Analytical and problem solving skills: You should be comfortable with solving new problems on a daily basis
  • Highly proficient English (written and spoken) essential
- _
_Most importantly__, we're looking for curious, ambitious people who love to learn and want to be a part of building something special. If (for any reason) you don't fit our requirements but you're passionate about our vision, don't hesitate to apply_
