As a key part of our Manufacturing Team, you will be involved in manufacturing and detailing composite panels up to 9m in length to the high standard of quality required, we are ideally looking for someone who has CNC Router experience.
You will be responsible for the manufacturing of panels / components as detailed within Land Systems work instructions, engineering drawings, work requests and verbal instructions, internal and external processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Detailing panels using a CNC Router and Table Saw- Aluminium Cutting- Plywood cutting- Foam cutting- Panel Laminating- Assembly activities- Following written instructions or working to drawings- Working as part of a team.- Using online booking system for booking on and off job tickets.- Working to budget and identifying any related issues- Assisting line supervision in the supervision of Apprentices / Trainees when required.

Experience/ Technical Competence:
- Considerable experience in Manufacturing / fabrication or equivalent trade.
- Experience in operating CNC Routers (preferred)
- Experience in Composite panel manufacture.
- Flexible and reliable approach to work
- Understanding and experience in Manufacturing and Assembly processes and techniques.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5s techniques.
- Awareness of Health and Safety, Fire and Environmental Policies.
Based in the UK, with operations in Canada, Marshall Land Systems specialises in the design and production of deployable operational infrastructure and mission support for humanitarian, defence and security operations across the globe.
Other core services include the integration of complex systems into a range of vehicles for use by the military and security services including explosive ordnance disposal and battlefield ambulances all underpinned by a full in-life managed service provision to ensure customers' equipment is available where and when they need it.
