Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Administrator to provide clinical administrative support services to the senior management team across our Care and Nursing Homes.


Working with both straightforward and complex enquiries from a range of sources, including the clinical teams, patients, relatives, carers as well as GP and other healthcare professionals.


The Clinical Administrator will provide excellent secretarial support to all members of the multi-disciplinary Team and provide analysis of clinical data for the operational team.


This post is fixed term until 31st March 2024 and working Monday to hours per week.

What you will be doing:


  • Handling residents' information sensitively and empathetically, being able to communicate with a wide range of people.
  • Providing telephone support for the team, dealing with complex enquiries from a range of sources, including the clinical teams, residents, relatives, carers as well as GP and other healthcare professionals.
  • Accurately inputting and maintaining a variety of systems (electronic and paper based), including both residents/client records for the appropriate specialist teams, and provide user training.
  • Providing support for meetings, booking meeting rooms, sending out supporting documentation (agenda's, papers etc).
  • Assisting in the compilation and reporting of weekly, monthly, and quarterly statistics in conjunction with the Health Care Records and Financial Management systems.
  • Formatting, or typing, audiotyping of letters, reports, minutes, presentations, statistics, and general correspondence/ documents, as required, using Microsoft Office and other software packages.
  • Assisting in the collation, submission and updating of information required for statutory and regulatory bodies, and customers.

What you will need:


  • Business administration qualification and/or relevant experience.
  • Experience of working in a clinical administrative role within the health and social care sector
- knowledge of The Care Act, The Mental Capacity Act, DOLS and general adult safeguarding best practice

  • Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) statutory regulations
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • High levels of IT literacy in the use of modern business systems, such as the Microsoft Office suite, Internet and cloudbased services and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
