Full time: 35 hours a week Monday to Friday

A fantastic opportunity to join Margaret Howell as Design Assistant.

Supporting the design team to ensure the smooth running of the department and assisting in the delivery of the mens & women's collections, this is an exciting role for fashion graduates with experience with a comparable brand.

There is limited opportunity to design as this is primarily an administrative support role.

Margaret Howell is a contemporary British clothing designer who has worked successfully in men's and women's clothing for over five decades.

Today, Margaret Howell clothes are sold worldwide with 12 own shops in Europe, over 100 outlets in Japan and an established online business.

To be considered for our role as Design Assistant you will have relevant work experience and:

A genuine interest in and passion for the Margaret Howell brand and ethos.
A high level of proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop and minimum intermediate level in MS office suite.
Demonstrable excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills.
The ability to sketch by hand and CAD to meet our standards.
The ability to think creatively.
A proactive and a 'can do' attitude.
Willingness and ability to engage with and deliver to timetable a diverse range of work and projects.

Ideally you will have experience of or a genuine interest in working with menswear as you will report to the Head of Menswear.

You will also support the Head of Womenswear and the Junior Womenswear Designer.
