Management Accountant, part qualified CIMA or ACCA, broad hands on role, Milton Keynes, £ Study support

Our successful and well established client have a new opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their Milton Keynes head office in a permanent role supporting the Divisional Financial Controller.


As the Management Accountant you will provide management information and financial control for a number of business units, including European subsidiaries.

In this varied role, your day to day responsibilities will include:


  • Preparation of monthly board pack in accordance with timetable and various management reports in line with business needs
  • Preparation in weekly cash flow forecasting and assisting with annual budget process
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements and year end files in accordance with local requirements as well as Group Finance
  • Assisting in the year end audit process, preparation of annual tax packs for tax accountants
  • Balance sheet controls including monthly balance sheet and payroll reconciliations, and review of sales and purchase ledgers
  • Review of profit of loss account and identify unusual variances
  • Ensure all transactional ledgers are accurate and up to date, review accruals and prepayments
  • Ensure the weekly debtors reports is maintained and any overdue invoices managed, review bad debt provision as required
  • Issuing of weekly KPI's, accurate and timely preparation of job costing and KPI reports
  • Preparation of VAT reconciliation/payments and completion of VAT returns
  • Preparation of HMRC reporting including PSA & P11D submissions
**This is a challenging and high profile role with excellent prospects for career progression for an experienced and ambitious Part Qualified Accountant who is keen to complete their CIMA/ACCA studies and progress to a management level within finance.
