Oracle PL/SQL / Forms Software Developer

  • PL/SQL Developer / Developer / Oracle Forms / Oracle Developer / Oracle PL/SQL / Oracle / Remote role. £450 £500 pd Outside IR35. 6 month contract_

Location - Remote role

Duration - 6 months initial contract

Day Rate - £450-£500 per day Outside IR35
Description


Tasks to include:

  • Analysis of Business requests to design software changes
  • Investigate issues raised and determine optimal solution
  • Develop software changes based upon solutions derived from any analysis or investigation undertaken
  • Test software changes to ensure they meet the solution defined
  • Liaise with Business as appropriate for gathering of information pertaining to the change
  • Liaise with Business to promote User Acceptance Testing of any changes and gain Business sign off
  • Ensure software changes are managed through source control and change management systems
  • Follow software changes through to implementation & perform post implementation monitoring
  • Document changes
  • Support other team members with support issues or projects as necessary

Skills:


  • Oracle Database (Ideally 19C) expertise including SQL & PL\SQL Coding
  • Oracle Forms development expertise (Ideally 12C)
  • Good knowledge of different levels of testing, and testing techniques
  • Good knowledge of Source Control and Change Management fundamentals
  • Good knowledge of Work Management tools (e.g. JIRA)
  • Highly organised and Process driven with attention to detail
  • Good communication skills to build good working relationships with both technical and business stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
