Salary:
£27,000 - £30,000 + Company Package
Hours: 08:30 AM - 16:30 PM (Monday to Friday - 1 hour lunchbreak)

They are an established firm within the engineering manufacturing sector and have a strong reputation supplying assembled components into the retail display industry and more.

The Estimator will be a key contact within the company, and you will ideally have a good understanding of Mechanical Engineering / Sheet Metal Fabrication.

You will report directly into the Senior Buyer.

As an Estimator, your main responsibilities will be:

Prepare accurate cost estimates from engineering drawings to new and existing customers.
Provide an excellent level of customer service to existing and new customers.
Liaise between the customers and the shop floor manufacturing department.
Assist with problems that arise from quotations submitted.
Create and utilise Job Cards and follow them through to completion.
Knowledge & experience of "Solid Works" and / or AutoCAD would be highly advantageous
Familiarity with Quality Management systems and processes.
Previous experience working within a Metal Fabrication company.
An understanding of Sheet metal / laser cutting / metal fabrication processes.
Comfortable and confident with reading engineering drawings.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills such as Excel.
