RJS Recruitment are supporting our client to build their European department.

With continued high demand and the focus on the changes by Brexit, our client is looking for a new team member in the role of European sales co-ordinator.

This role will focuson quoting for existing European customers, developing new European customers and building relationships with existing and new hauliers to maximise their services and customer care levels.

Job Specifics

  • Creating quotations for our clients both UK customers and overseas agents in all modes FTL or LTL, be it import or export
  • Successfully converting quotes into bookings
  • Carrying out and logging quote follow ups
  • Proactively seeking new opportunities
  • Rate management
  • Ensuring all data related to quotations is logged in Sapphire system
  • Assist in constant development of our systems regarding pricing
  • Seamlessly passing converted jobs to operations
  • Working alongside our European Manager for pricing and solutions on larger projects
  • Building and maintaining client, agents & supplier relations
  • Operational cover as and when required, training to be given
  • General office duties as required
  • AEO, ISO and customs compliance
  • Customer visits as and when required
  • Provide advice and support to colleagues regarding pricing
  • Ensuring customers/partners are receiving first class customer services
  • Experience of working in European Operational roles
  • Knowledge in required customs documentation, certificates, or licences and general customs compliance
  • Knowledge of tariffs
  • Bonded customs, special/simplified customs procedures
  • Understanding of AEO Procedures
  • Understanding of Inco Terms
  • Additional declarations for specific destinations and origins
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good problemsolving skills and geographical knowledge
  • Great customer service skills

Hours 09:00 to 17:30 with 1 hr lunch break (Monday to Friday)

Salary:
£27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
