We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to work within our Marketing and Communications team at Oil Spill Response Ltd (OSRL).

The Marketing and Communications team support all aspects of the business, from commercial preparedness to member response services.You will get the opportunity to work alongside a well-established marketing and communications team with members in Southampton and Singapore, as well as experienced individuals from across the organisation.

About the role:
This exciting new role will focus on the implementation and operationalisation of ongoing and new campaigns as well as the data analysis to improve our marketing efforts.
The role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the operational side of marketing, supporting and executing the organisation's overall marketing strategy.
Main Accountabilities:
- Assist in organising campaigns
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of OSRL's marketing activities.
- Support coworkers in organising various projects.
- Engagement in marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc).
- Helps manage internal systems such as CRM and internal planning tools
- Compose and post online content on the company's website. Support with website development projects.
- Ensure website remains up to date and functions correctly including troubleshooting. Support SEO activities
About you:
We're looking for a team player with all round knowledge of marketing activities who can flex and pivot to meet changing demands.
You will be a strong problem-solver, always looking to improve the way things are done and finding solutions to overcome challenges.
You're a strong communicator and able to write in an expressive and engaging way, focusing on high customer satisfaction. A self-starter who is happy to work independently and as part of a team. You are comfortable reviewing complex information from multiple sources and explaining it in simple terms.
We are looking for someone with an undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing and communications or a related field.
You will have some experience in digital marketing, website Content Management Systems (CMS), CRM and marketing automation systems.
You should enjoy working as part of a team in person and remotely. Written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Working with OSRL
Salary £25,000 - £30,000, dependent upon experience
