**Secondary English Teacher

We are currently searching for a qualified, passionate, and hard-working English Teacher to take up a long-term position within one of our partnership secondary schools in the Bridgend area.

The successful applicant will be educating students in KS3 andKS4 on English Language and Literature. The role is on a long-term basis likely to be the full academic year, looking to start someone ASAP. Due to the close start date, interviews are being held online via Microsoft Teams over the next 2 weeks.


The Ideal English Teacher:


  • Will hold Qualified Teacher Status
  • Has experience teaching English to KS3 & KS
  • Have enhanced DBS certificate available on the update service
  • Be registered with the EWC
  • Provide two schoolbased references
  • Have a passion for education


This exciting position is extended to both NQTs looking to kickstart their teaching career or FQTs wanting to broaden their experience.

The successful applicant will be working as part of a team in a friendly and reliable environment that is the school'sEnglish department.

The school has indicated there is additional training and mentoring available throughout the duration of the position to ensure the successful English Teacher can perform at their peak ability.

Additionally, you will have access to theschools' phenomenal facilities including ICT suites, intervention rooms and a large English department.
