    Job Title: Structures Asset Manager

    Egis is a leading global consulting, construction engineering and operating firm. We are proud to be delivering some of the most iconic projects in the UK that help connect people, protect our environment, and meet emission reduction targets.

    The M25 is one of our flagship projects in the UK, with over 200,000 vehicles passing through it every day. This critical infrastructure asset requires high levels of performance, constant improvement, and repairs to keep it operating smoothly.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement asset management maintenance and renewal strategies for various structure categories, including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, sign/signal gantries, and masts.
    • Create value-led technical decision-making processes and procedures to support long-term asset management.
    • Utilize the Asset Management System, including RMMS and Decision Support Tools, to identify structural renewal and maintenance interventions.
    • Schedule bridge inspections and assist with structures condition reporting.
    • Participate in scheme identification/option studies and lifecycle advisory activities related to structures renewals.
    • Help identify efficient renewal scheme interventions and conduct whole-life cost analysis, including lifecycle planning, optimization, and prioritization.
    • Ensure compliance with legislation and contract service schedules for bridge structures.
    • Support programs for substandard structures, including piers and parapets.
    • Liaise with the CPS on-roads team to maintain consistency in maintenance regimes.
    • Attend callouts for emergency incidents involving specified assets.
    • Collate information for effective performance measurement and controls.

    Requirements:

    • Qualifications to degree level or equivalent.
    • Working towards Professional Qualification (MICE, MIAM, MIStructE, or similar).
    • Knowledge and experience in highway bridge asset management and understanding of bridge inspection and maintenance activities.
    • Awareness of RWSC, DMRB, and SHW standards.
    • Understanding of Asset Management Systems.
    • Experience working within the Strategic Road Network, with National Highways.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Current UK driving license.
