Field Sales Solutions have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as the Head of Insights on our Ferrero account (Maternity cover role - up to 9 months fixed term contract)


Field Sales Solutions is an award winning & leading field marketing company, whilst you will be employed by Field Sales Solutions, you will be assigned to work for one of our largest clients Ferrero.

Ferrero is a rapidly expanding FMCG Company that encompasses iconic brands such as Ferrero Rocher, Kinder, Nutella, Tic Tac, Thorntons, and Fox's Burtons biscuits.


We're looking for a Head of Insights (Maternity leave cover) based at Field Sales Solutions Head Office in Thame (2/3 days each week in the office & 2/3 days WFH).

Travel to Ferrero's office in Greenford may be required as needed, as will occasional visits (bi-monthly) to participate in National Field meetings (usually in the Birmingham, or Manchester areas).

we can offer you a competitive salary in the range of £50,000 - £60,000 p.a.

The Insights team delivers channel specific analysis for Ferrero Field Sales and Field Management teams.

The role holder will manage the team on a day-to-day basis, support with workload prioritisation according to business need, coach, review and support the team with strategic pieces of insights and produce Insight for Field Management performance meetings amongst other topics.

What will you be doing?

  • Support and coach the Insights channel analysts to deliver Insightful presentations using a variety of sources (i.e. Market Data, Consumer Data, Trade Information and internal data collection from the field team) to create selling stories for channels/customers
  • Support the Insights team analysts in daytoday workload management, supporting with escalations or prioritisation requests through excellent client management skills.
  • Supporting the Commercial Controller on any businesscritical project execution.
  • Working alongside the Strategic Insights Project analyst to ensure learnings from delivered Insight is shared with channel analysts and visa versa, and that learnings across the team result in cohesive recommendations for Ferrero.
  • Produce Performance review analysis and recommendations that will be presented at the Field Management team meetings.
  • Helping to deliver the business priorities and KPIs (alongside Channel Heads).
  • Regular Field visits to ensure consistency in ways of working between Field Execs and Field Operations.
What you will need

  • Proven ability to direct line manage and coach a team of Insight/ Data analysts in Client facing roles.
  • Previous experience as an Insights Analyst (individual contributor) in your career history
  • Strong Client Management skills (communication, influencing, presenting) ideally in am FMCG arena.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office required, especially excel (experience of pivot tables required)
  • Power BI experience an advantage
  • Experience of working within FMCG (Field Sales experience beneficial)
  • A full clean UK driving licence.
