Your Mission


As a
UI Artist you will join Sledgehammer's Global UIX team tasked with
crafting the User Interface of our titles
across in-game systems
and the front-end
, from pre-production through to shipping**.


You will be creating UI art - with a focus on motion design - for multiple features as well as being
responsible for ensuring interfaces are delivered to AAA standards. As a motion specialist you'll work with other UI artists to
bring interfaces to life, adding depth, effects and polish as well as
improving UX through interface animations where appropriate.

Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:


  • Working with the UI Lead and other artists to create exceptional user interfaces throughout the game.

Collaborate with UI artists on visual execution and bring ownership to motion design, including how mockups could translate in animation and with visual effects.

Collaborate with UX designers on using motion to deliver a simpler, more fluid user experience.

Create high-quality UI assets, motion designs and visual targets

Working closely with designers and engineers to deliver the best possible user interface while staying within technical and aesthetic requirements.

Taking an active role in implementation and feature delivery.
-
Taking an active role in refining the UI art development process, tools and pipeline.


Profile
-
Has a clear portfolio of work that demonstrates previous projects and personal values.
-
3+ years of practical experience in the field of UI/UX.
-
Passionate about being an individual contributor, helping to shape the vision and deliver assets.
-
Proficient in industry-standard motion design packages and able to adapt to proprietary tools.
-
Exceptional interface art, motion and graphic design skills

Capable of adapting to a range of art styles and techniques

Is proactive in seeking feedback from peers and leads. Supports others to do the same.

Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Proactively manages and communicates their workload to production and leads.
