Salary:
£50,000 - £55,000


Plus bonus of 7.5% of basic salary (paid annually) and £300 monthly bonus. Total OTE of £62,725.

Plus £6,500 annual car allowance and further benefits

Monday - Friday, your choice of office hours (37.5 hours per week). No weekends.

Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Kettering. Our client is one of Kettering's top employers, with a global reputation, brand and fan base. A great employer with various development opportunities with length of service. Dueto internal promotion, our client is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager.


Role purpose:

As the Assistant Manager, you'll work very closely with the General Manager and Director of UK & Europe. You'll have four divisional department heads reporting to you. You'll have circa 15-20 direct/ indirect reports.


Summary of your daily duties and responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of the Portfolio management, and Operations Teams including but not limited to; absence management, performance monitoring and management and disciplinary processes.
  • Development of employees to achieve their full potential, with a view of future progression planning.
  • Coordinate and ensure all relevant training provided to all associates.
  • Provide performance feedback for all direct reports, complete timely performance reviews and handle any performance improvement requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance of the entire team in terms of all regulated activities.
  • Ensure that all deadlines are met and staff are held accountable for their responsibilities on a day to day basis.

Responsibilities around the different teams you'll be managing:


Portfolio Management:


  • Report and track net losses/delinquency and provide weekly, quarterly and annual projections on all portfolios
  • EC / Lease and Franchise Finance.
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly delinquency and loss projections to UK and US Management.
  • Prepare and present a full quarterly forecasting package to the President of the US Credit Groups and all relevant VP's.
  • Analysis of business portfolio, reviewing strategy and formulating plans to drive efficiencies and improvement of results in all areas.
  • Review and approve contract extensions, fee waivers, and Platinum Consideration exceptions.
  • Review and approve all litigation requests for all portfolios.
  • Review and approve all losses for write off in accordance with the schedule of authority.
  • Ensure collection and repossession procedures adhere to corporate policy.
  • Ensuring the team develop the credit business by building strong relationships with sales management and franchisees.
  • Attendance at regional sales events to promote the credit business and support business development and growth.

Operations:


  • Periodic bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure the timely processing of all contracts and payments across all portfolios.
  • Relationship management; being the primary advocate between external banking vendors and internal accounting and treasury functions.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and schedules of authorities.
  • Internal and external audit support.
