Description

Our client, independent Fostering Services provider, require a Secondary School Teacher to deliver their Functional Skills provision in their school in Taunton.

As their Functional Skills teacher you will delivering Functional Skills to children who have experienced trauma in their lives and really making a difference to their education and learning.

The school itself has been awarded the Attachment and Trauma SensitiveSchool Award at Gold level demonstrating their commitment to the students.

The school itself is based on the edge of Taunton and are a team of 30 who support children across Somerset.

The children are aged between 8-19 yrs old and they have their own forest school and teaching at a local equine facility.

The position is Monday-Friday 830am-430pm over 5 days.

You will have:

A background in teaching, specifically functional skills
NQTS, QTLS, QTS registration
An active listener
Ability to communicate at all levels

In return the client is offering:
