Software Engineering Intern - Cambridge, United Kingdom - HME

For the markets we serve - broadcast, live performance, live events, sports, military, aerospace and governmentThis role will be based in our Cambridge Engineering office located in the Cambridge Research Park.
In this position you will:
- Design and develop new features mainly in C, C++, Javascript or NodeJs for professional intercom products
- Use Agile and lean methodologies in a scrum team with a dedicated mentor
- Write and validate unit and integration tests
- Collaborate on code reviews and update functional specifications
What you need to be a good fit:
- You are a good team player and a good communicator.
- Motivated with great attention to detail.
- Enjoys the challenge of working in a fastpaced development team.
- Appetite to learn new products and tools.
- Working knowledge of MS Dynamic AX and Salesforce or other CRM a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under deadlines.
- Familiar with programming languages such as C, C++, Javascript, Typescript, Python.
- Ability to use multiple operating systems (Linux, Mac OS X, Windows).
Nice to haves:
- Experience in REST APIs.
- Scripting knowledge (Bash and Python).
