About the role


LANXESS is currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for the position of Regulatory Affairs Specialist within the Material Protection Products (MPP) Business Unit and Business Line ACD Biosecurity Solutions.


BL ACD Disinfection is a dynamic and fast-pace business, positioned at the forefront of disease control in animal livestock production, offering premium disinfectants under the globally-renowned Virkon brand.

This business is looking for a highly capable person to join the biocides group within the EMEA Regulatory Affairs team, with a compatible skillset and personality to support exciting and novel business projects.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Preparation and submission of technical dossiers to regulatory agencies in the EMEA region for the purpose of enhancing, maintaining or gaining product marketing authorisations. This includes interaction with regulatory agencies and/or experts.
  • Supporting the Global Regulatory Affairs team with administrative and technical regulatory material during the registration activities outside of the EMEA region.
  • Coordination and oversight of the labelling activities from the business of Antec International Limited.
  • Ensuring compliance of product labels within allocated countries within the EMEA region.

About you

  • Undergraduate degree or higher in a physical science or related field.
  • Competent technical and scientific skills.
  • Good communications skills, including an ability to succinctly summarise to audiences of varying technical capabilities.
  • Selfmotivated and organised; capable of effectively managing and prioritising a busy personal workload.
  • Proven and strong problem solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work in an international team.
  • Experience of effective interaction withagencies.
  • Working experience of regulatory requirements in the field of biocides.
  • Fluent English
  • Occasional overseas travel is expected.
