As the Assistant Document Controller, your job will be to work closely with a Senior member of the Document Control team to be supported and mentored in the role.
You will support to growth of the team as the business continues to excel, offering opportunities to develop your own career as a Document Controller.
Operating as a Junior Document Controller, or Assistant Document Controller, you will be supporting the team to ensure that all project documentation is up to date, available and easily accessible by the Project Team.
Responsibilities:
- Create electronic and paperbased filing systems for drawings, specifications, various design related communication
- Ensures that all this information is up to date, downloaded from the Information Management Systems
- Create and regularly update various trackers, registers, and other tools to ensure that all stored information up to date and easily accessible
- Follow the guidance and instructions of the Senior Document Controller and Design teams to compiling all information, documents, and certificates
- Provide any other administrative assistance required by the Project and Design Teams
- Ensure accurate control of documentation from preconstruction through to completion and archiving
You will also need to be proactive, positive and confident communicating at all levels and able to work as part of a close-knit team.
- Relevant Document Controller experience in a construction sector environment
- Ambitious, career driven attitude

- Ability to work in a fastpaced, reactive environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of 4 Projects or similar packages desirable but not essential
- Live with in communing distance to Nottingham
