Part-Time Charity Fundraiser/Membership Recruiter

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as regional Charity Fundraisers/Membership Recruiters. Working at local venues and events, your primary goal will be to encourage people to support their local Wildlife Trust through a monthly direct debit.

Key Responsibilities:

To effectively promote and sell membership to the public at various events and locations across the region.
To engage with potential supporters and build relationships with existing members.
To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and contribute to the success of the charity.

Requirements:

A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for transporting equipment is essential.
Experience in field sales, promotion, or face-to-face fundraising is welcome but not mandatory.
An interest in wildlife conservation and the environment is desirable.
The role involves outdoor working using a gazebo and display equipment.
Part-time position requiring 3-4 days per week, including regular weekend days and bank holidays.
This is a permanent contract with fixed working days.

Compensation:

An initial hourly rate of £14 during the training period, reducing to £11 after 60 days of employment.
Average hourly commission-based earnings of £20.
