JOB PURPOSE

The role of Head of Business is to:
➔ Effectively manage the resources within the business to achieve the required objectives, including sales volumes, profitability, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and loyalty levels.

Reports to:
Luxury Area Director


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Head of Business

➔ Establish, develop and grow the brand within the market area.
➔ Develop a customer service driven environment and culture through regular communication, team building and coaching with managers and employees of the business.
➔ To lead and be responsible for the performance of sales, service and parts departments.
➔ Communicate and maintain customer service standards and measurements in line with the requirements of the brand. Achieve balanced scorecard requirements.
➔ Provide clear leadership by ensuring the vision and objectives for the business are understood and communicated by the staff.
➔ Recruit team in line with organisational requirements.
➔ Develop and monitor the business plan for all areas in order to meet business objectives, profit margins and market penetration. Liaise on a regular basis with manufacturer representatives and company senior managers to review key performance indicators of the business.
➔ Ensure the business adheres to current UK legislation and that manufacturer operating standards, policies, procedures and financial controls are regularly reviewed in order to maximise business performance.
➔ Formulate and agree marketing activities and budgets for the business in order to create and maintain brand awareness.
➔ Ensure that all staff are aware of Health and Safety requirements and regularly review with departmental managers in order to comply with Health and Safety regulations.

Skills & Requirements

Essential

➔ Full UK driving licence.
➔ Smart appearance.
➔ Competent level of education.
➔ Good understanding of sales and aftersales operations.

Experience

Essential

➔ Experience in building a business and a growth mindset.
➔ Ability to lead a team and deliver in a results driven environment.
