Childcare Students - Flexible hours
We are currently recruiting for individuals who are currently studying or looking at studying childcare.
We can offer paid work gaining experience of working across a variety of primary schools with children of different ages and abilities.
This is a great opportunity to build your experience and build skills to support your future career with children.You can choose the days each week that you'd like to work but need to be available between the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm.
You don't need to have previous experience but we are looking for individuals who are passionate about enhancing the lives of children.
You will mostly be working alongside the class teacher to provide support to the children and in some cases on a 1:1 basis.
The needs of the children can vary, and in some cases the children may have complex learning difficulties.The successful applicant will:
- Have strong communication skills
- Deal with situations calmly and sensitively
- Have a collaborative approach and be able to work closely with other staff and families
- Care deeply about pupils academic, emotional and personal development
- Be able to use their initiative in meeting the needs of the student, depending on their individual communication and learning skills
- Have drive and determination
- Adaptable, proactive and positive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
