DATA ENGINEER

REMOTE (MUST be UK based)

Up to £45,000 per annum

THE COMPANY
This company are a brand-new tech business, specializing in the healthcare industry.

They've recently launched an app to support the NHS nurses, and 2021 hugely improved performance post-pandemic so they foresee continued growth over the next few years.


THE ROLE

  • Using AWS QuickSight for BI needs, and light transformations of data they've moved away from their 3rd party provider and want to do everything inhouse
  • Building a data lake house solution (they don't need a data warehouse as this would be too big and clunky when they're a small and nimble business)
  • Making data governance and security a lot more manageable, as well as keeping doors open for the future utilisation of MLOps
  • Building out ETL pipelines
  • Pulling SQL transformations out of the data lake

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Experience working in an AWS environment (including s3, AWS Glue etc.)
  • 2yrs commercial experience
