Senior Operations Accountant - Malton - £50,000 - £65,000 plus benefits

Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a leading, faced-paced manufacturer, based near York who are looking to add a Senior Operations Accountant to their finance function.

As part of a large group company, the business is going through high levelsof growth and this role will deliver comprehensive support to the Site Finance Director and Senior Management Team in assisting them to further grow and develop the site.

You will oversee the provision, analysis and interpretation of daily, weekly and monthly operational and MI reporting, highlighting any risks and opportunities to drive efficiencies and enhance performance.

You will be involved in the development and implementation of a strong and robust reporting system that will be a key priority in order to deliver the objectives

**Salary & Benefits: A fantastic opportunity to join a growing business taking control of operational accounting, working on developing reporting, systems and controls and driving change. You will receive a starting salary of up to £65,000 per annum alongside other great benefitsin a business which provides opportunities for long term development.

Senior Operations Accountant Responsibilities**:

Driving continuous improvement initiatives across all operational departments and supporting to drive change
Partner the Head of Operations and Factory Managers
Oversee the provision, analysis and interpretation of daily, weekly and monthly operational and MI reporting identifying trends, risks and opportunities
Deputise for the Head of Site Finance, including group reporting and site engagement sessions
Review stock levels, reporting and management with the focus to drive down WIP stock
Support in the product costing process

Required Skills & Experience:

Qualified Accountant with a strong background in Manufacturing/ FMCG sector
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
Continuous improvement mentality with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive change
Problem solver and ability to influence
Passion to be hands on and get into the operations
Confident on Microsoft Excel and various ERP systems
