Description

We are seeking a suitably experienced and skilled adult Speech & Language Therapist to take up an exciting and dynamic remote SLT role.

This post has already been successfully piloted.

The post holder will work closely with skilled and supportive acute and community SLT colleagues at the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals.

You will provide a range of clinical systems management, clinical decision making and therapeutic tasks, via a predominantly remote role.

As Trust, service and patient needs evolve, this innovative post enables our service to progress patients through specific pathways, tailor make care plans, reduce waiting lists and provide smoother transition between acute and community services.

The service aims to support early and effective discharge from hospital and reduce unscheduled admissions to hospital.

Our service benefits from away days and professional skills development through close links with the organisational development department.

You will be well supported by the clinical leads and professional lead. There will be access to specialist level training, regular clinical supervision, and CPD.
