Opportunity:
We are currently looking to appoint a Maintenance Mechanic to join our established maintenance team.
Role:
Reporting to the Workshop Manager you will be:
- A forward thinker with a "can do" attitude.
- An excellent time
- Able to join and integrate into an established team, additionally be able to work under your own initiative.
- Have a good understanding of health and safety practices and be able to work to them accordingly.
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to liaise with personnel on all levels such as colleauges and customers.
- Be able to work overtime and weekends as and when required to suit the needs of the business.
You will be responsible for maintenance and repair of: Plant, LGV/ HGV and mobile cranes in the workshop and out on customer sites.
Your background:
- Trained to NVQ L3 or equivalent in Plant maintenance and repair/ HGV mechanic
- Experience: 2 Years Plant fitting (preferred) or 3years + HGV mechanic
- Hydraulic Experience preferred.
- Electrical systems experience required.
- Driving Licence required/ cat C licence preferred but not essential.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
