_Salary up to £30,000+benefits._

  • We are a leading managed service provider in the Education Sector and we are looking for an Assistant Network Manager to join our team supporting IT for a school in the Esher Area_


This is an exciting _op_portunity for an Assistant Network Manager to join a highly recognised and always expanding IT solutions and managed service provider.

This permanent vacancy is one of our core roles, placing you in a school to form part ofour Managed IT service provision, but working for a company that puts engineering excellence first.


Our requirement is for an Assistant Network Manager with some background in supporting infrastructures and
Microsofttechnologies, although induction and on-the-job training with our experienced on-site team will be provided.

As an Assistant Network Manager you will be working in an educational environment with a team of dedicated professionals.

Our team of experienced seniors will be supporting you either remotely or as a site visit, enabling you to further your career within the sector and provide an outstanding service to our clients.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Resolving 1st line support calls from within the school's helpdesk.
  • Supporting infrastructure to ensure maximum service ability
  • Ensuring the IT Support Manager, senior engineer and central helpdesk are aware of any issues that need to be raised and escalated we are looking for someone who can do, but someone who equally is prepared to escalate.
  • Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced DBS disclosure. Disclosure expense will be met by employer.

Requirements:


  • You need to have some entrylevel experience of supporting IT in a controlled environment.
  • You will be willing to work in teams to resolve common problems, and also be part of our rollout project teams.
  • Microsoft Server Skills are desirable
  • Professional and polished communication skills
  • Experience in the education sector is desirable but not essential
  • Must have a clean and valid DBS disclosure
  • Keen desire to learn and expand on your existing knowledge/ skills
