**£22k-£28k per annum

  • Permanent Role**This is a permanent role to work for a fastexpanding business that has double in headcount in the past 12 months due to unprecedented orders, resulting in a solid order book for the next 2 3 years. Production Planner may carry out tasks such as.- To assist the Production Coordinator to deliver effective Production Planning.

  • Assist with the production plan to ensure it is up to date and accurate.
  • Update the Kitting Kan Board from the plan, ensuring clean dates are achievable and liaising with Purchasing on issue parts.
  • Update the production planning board (this will be electronic later in the year)
  • Attending Customer Account Meetings (Production Meetings) with the Production Coordinator to assist with planning and updates.
  • Assist in the monthend process with the Production Coordinator so that monthend requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Communicate between Production and Account Mangers on issues and progress for their customer products.
  • Achieve a competent level on the above so that they can cover for the Production Coordinator during any absence.

Knowledge/Qualification-

  • Experience of working in a similar contract electronic manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Previous experience of working with systems and databases.
  • Experience of MRP / ERP systems. (Desirable, not essential)
  • Good computer skills
