Description
Senior Educational Psychologist required as the senior management team.

To take responsibility and lead on an area of specialist knowledge and practice,

as assigned by the Head of Educational Psychology and Pupil Support Services,

supporting Inclusion and Vulnerable Groups, in one or more of the following


areas:

  • Social, Mental and Emotional Needs (SMEH)
  • Vulnerable Children supported by Social Care and Youth Offending
Services

  • Autism years)
  • Complex Learning Needs
To contribute to the senior management team, including a commitment to

developing quality assurance standards and the effective supervision of main grade Educational Psychologists to protect the client group and wellbeing of the

EP.

To deliver an effective educational psychology service to schools and the Local

Authority by providing advice and guidance on assessment and interventions for

vulnerable pupils including those with a special educational need/disability.

Experience of the assessment of and intervention with children's educational needs from a psychological perspective, including evidence of a specific interest or focus in the specialist area.

Experience of supervising and supporting colleagues or trainees. Experience of leadership and management including chairing meetings, coordinating a project or leading on service development activities.
