JOB PURPOSE

  • Burberry is looking for a Product Development Assistant to support the Product Development team in delivering the end to end product development process in their respective category.
    RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure precision in the PLM system, maintaining accurate data across the collection.
  • Foster strong partnerships with manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring timely and budgetconscious deliveries.
  • Manage documentation for collection overviews, ensuring comprehensive organisation.
  • Track and report on budget allocation for product development, prototypes, and samples.
  • Streamline sample and swatch organisation through efficient filing and archiving.
  • Provide essential product information support to both product development and design teams.
  • Curate visually compelling boards and collection books to showcase the brand's vision.
  • Assist the PD Admin team with administrative tasks as needed, contributing to smooth operations and efficiency.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Prior experience in Product Development is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy even when working with large volumes of data entry.
  • Commercial awareness of product costs and adeptness at tracking against budgets.
  • Effective communication skills, able to effectively share information with the team in a clear, concise way
  • Demonstrated passion for fashion and a keen understanding of trends, the luxury market, and consumer preferences.
  • Proven ability to operate efficiently with flexibility, initiative, and a solutionoriented mindset.
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Computer skills, including PLM, Excel, and InDesign
