An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic multi-skilled administrator to join the inpatient mental health administration team at Prospect Park Hospital in Reading.

Previousexperience in an administrative or medical secretarial role is essential as is a commitment to excellent patient care, team working and a willingness to support change and adapt to new ways of working.

- transcribing medical summaries
- notating professionals meetings
- preparing weekly reports of clients who have been discharged
- preparing agendas and taking minutes at meetings
- providing high level administrative support to the senior leadership team

The 3/4 "must haves" for you to be considered for this role:

  • Good standard of education (4 x GCSEs at grade C or higher (old grading) grade 4 or higher (new grading) or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working in officebased or customer care environments and of handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to produce professional documentation to a high standard
  • Demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) to an advanced level.
