Motivated by the energetic and customer centric role of Sales, with a magnetic personality and passion for driving revenue and growth, you must be able to build strong productive working relationships, have a 'go-getter' attitude with the ability to execute new opportunities.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Sales to focus on maximizing revenue performance and achieve budgets through the effective implementation and deployment of a strategic Sales and Marketing plan, account management, business development & digital engagement.


You will:


  • Drive all profitable revenue and RGI growth through the focus on a selected portfolio of existing Small and Medium (SME) accounts and new customers with a strategic focus on group, corporate and M&E business.
  • Support the onsite Reservations Office with conversion of enquiries within the agreed escalation threshold.
  • Devise, execute and own a detailed and targeted Sales & Marketing Plan for the hotel and Account development plans for your own portfolio
  • Produce reports with analysis of performance against forecast and budget, along with outlook for the weeks/months ahead (transient and M&E) whilst providing a summary of all activities, successes, opportunities, red flags and local market intelligence
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with other areas of the Hotel to ensure that relevant strategy is understood and aligned.

You are:


  • A result orientated, Director of Sales or Sales Leader with a passion for hospitality and interacting with people
  • A firstclass networker and communicator with excellent project management skills and an eagle eye for spotting new opportunities.
  • A commercially astute, analytical multitasker who is motivated by a challenge with a proven track record of creating and executing strategic plans for hotel(s) and managed accounts
  • Proactive with a handson approach with the ability to work collaboratively at all levels, driving results for your business
  • Detailed and analytical, able to interpret data and present results to stakeholders and at a senior level
