Description


SES are a local Health and Safety Consultancy providing a "one stop shop" for all environmental services including energy, testing, sustainability and analysis requirements for Clients throughout the South East.

We are currently recruiting a GeoEnvironmental Consultant to join our expanding team.
The purpose of your role is to promote the work of
SES primarily with respect to contaminated land works.

To assist with the growth of the contaminated land business area for Weston Homes and external clients and to manage assistant consultants associated with these works, and to assist with other services within the teams' portfolio.

Key Deliverables:


  • To undertake phased contaminated land studies and provide consultancy advice for all clients.
  • Managing ground investigations
  • Preparing quotations
  • Scheduling /programming monitoring works
  • Preparation of engineers logs
  • Scheduling the preparation of technical reports
  • Arranging chemical analysis
  • Preparation of risk assessments
  • Review of technical reports

Skills & Experience:


  • Degree in Geology, Earth Science or Environmental Engineering
  • A minimum of 35 years experience of working in ground investigations (geotechnical and comntaminated land
  • A strong technical background in the investigation, remediation and validation of contaminated land, site specific risk assessments, CLEA and other risk models, groundwater contamination, landfill gas risk assessments, remediation techniques and waste soil classification.
  • Knowledge in UK legislation and guidance relating to contaminated land.
  • Significant demonstrable experience in geoenvironmental investigation
  • CSCS
  • Driving Licence
