The role contributes to the efficient functioning of the Participation department, supporting team members with their endeavours to increase netball participation across Wales.

The role holder will have the opportunity to get involved with, and learn about, all areas of the Participation department, from national competitions and workforce development to new programme creation & activation - no two days will be the same.

We are seeking a conscientious individual to join the organisation as Participation Support Officer.


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Support with the efficient processing of DBS checks for community workforce and ensure reporting of any sensitive data to the relevant staff members.
  • Set the meeting cadence for League and Club forums, scheduling, and communicating about forums to the requisite membership.
  • Order and prepare resources and equipment required to run Participation events, courses, and programmes.
  • Send out Participation events, courses, and programmes resources both digitally and via post in a timely manner ahead of start dates.
  • Create and implement mechanisms to gather timely insights from attendees of Participation events, courses, and programmes (for example surveys).
  • Ensure workforce data held on the membership platform remains current and high quality, via recording newly granted certifications after workforce development courses and assessments, and monitoring qualifications and annual agreements.
  • Working collaboratively with the Business Support Officer, to ensure League and Club data held on the membership platform remains current and high quality, via data interrogation and targeted communication.
  • Create Participation events, courses, and programmes on the membership platform, ensuring their digital setup is reflective of reallife requirements.
  • Support with facility booking and enquiries for Participation events, courses, and programmes.
  • Support with accommodation and travel booking for Participation events, courses, and programmes.
  • Work collaboratively with the Digital Communications Officer to plan and schedule Participation social media communications and news articles, ensuring broad engagement with the netball community.
  • Support with recruitment and coordination of event volunteers.

Additional:

  • Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the Line Manager and CEO.
  • Proactively comply with and promote all organisation policies, in particular those relating to Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity, Mental Health and Data Protection.

Salary:
£20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

Experience:


  • Administrative: 1 year (required)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- community sport: 1 year (preferred)
