Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a LOCAL AUTHORITY, who are looking to recruit an experienced Facilities Management Helpdesk & Asset Lead to join their team based in the South East area.


JOB DETAILS

  • PAY RATE: £30.
26 per hour Umbrella

  • WORK TYPE: Temporary
  • WORK PATTERN: Full Time
  • LOCATION: South East London

JOB SUMMARY

  • Responsible for leading on the Facilities Management CAFM based helpdesk and asset management system
  • Lead on all helpdesk related matters and to be the prime contact for technical CAFM assistance for help desk operatives, building managers and premises coordinators.
  • Manage, implementation and develop the Facilities Management Helpdesk and CAFM system through controlled development plans.
  • Effectively support, and ensure a high quality service are provided to the Facilities Management Team, contractors and building managers, premises managers / coordinators utilising the Councils CAFM system.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Participate in the Performance Appraisal Scheme (PES) and to undertake appropriate training and development identified to enhance their work.
  • Carry out the duties of the post with due regard to the Council's Dignity at Work Policy and core values.
  • All employees are required to comply with the Council's Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times, taking due care for themselves, colleagues and members of the public.
  • Assist in carrying out the Council's environmental policy within the day to day activities of the post.
  • Undertake other duties, commensurate with the grade, as may reasonably be required.
  • Treat all information acquired through employment, both formally and informally, in strict confidence.
  • Develop, allocate, receive, log, update and manage all CAFM related data including but not limited to planned and reactive works, projects, asset data, financial information, quotes, reports, and documentation
  • Communicate to officers and contractors on CAFM related items
  • Report on the operational performance of all Council Facilities and building assets, which may include building maintenance and repairs, cleaning and associated services, manned security and utilities.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

  • Use of CAFM system (TF cloud current system but experience with any system is ok)
  • Knowledge of SFG20
  • Understanding of what PPM are required for building assets.
  • Understanding of building compliance of implications if PPMs are not carried out.
  • Experiencing dealing with engineers or contractors.
