The Role:

Working within a Framework JV made up of seven partner companies and their extended supply chain, delivering over half of Anglian Water's capital investment programme.


The framework is heading into its latest Asset Management Period, known as AMP 7 which will the delivery of a £1.8bn programme of work over the next five years.


Overseeing future programme forecast for the Alliance, through the liaison with Anglian Water, you'll develop short, medium, and long terms programmes and resource forecasts to influence the businesses outperformance across programme management, commercial,finance, estimating and procurement.


Lead the Alliance Programme Management team and develop planning, commercial, management and leadership skills within your team, driving positive commercial, planning and programme management behaviours across the business.

Together with the Programme and Planning team, be the business' advocate of time utilisation, efficiency and world-class delivery


Accountable for the implementation of the Anglian Water Totex Investment Process (TIP) and Collaborative Production Management System (CPMS) across all Alliance delivered projects, including required training, assurance and reporting.


Lead the development and implementation of the Alliance strategy by Supporting the Alliance Director and Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement actions plans that move from current to future state, including design of Processes, Organisation andSystems.

Utilise your team's skills, programme management software (ie. P6), commercial data and client intelligence to optimise the most effective and cost-efficient delivery of the programme.

Experience:
Qualified in a relevant discipline


In depth understanding of commercial, estimating and financial process & systems, preferably in a contracting environment, of large scale multi-million pound capital construction projects.


Proven knowledge and experience working with
NEC3, PSC and ECC contracts with the client and the supply chain, with emphasis on Option C.

Proven ability in delivering business objectives at a strategic level and developing best practice.

Previous experience of managing a large Programme Management or Commercial Team delivering project programmes in excess of £100m/annum (desirable)
