The Role
We provide sustainable transport options to various cities nationwide through the provision of bike, e-bike and e-scooter schemes. We are looking for a talented Communities & Risk Management Lead to join our Operations department.

The role will report to our Programme Manager and Scheme Leads to manage a programme of community liaison and engagement and risk reduction.

Community buy in is an essential part of risk management.


The Person

  • Proven ability to take on responsibility, pursue excellence and see tasks through to completion
  • Exemplary communication skills with excellent written/oral communication skills for reports and presentations
  • Personable, proactive, professional and able to demonstrate full commitment to engagement and service in all activities and interact at all levels of the organisation
  • Work as a key member of the Programme & Delivery team and will take on responsibility for tasks singularly
  • Highly organised as will be managing a portfolio of work across multiple schemes

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Programme and Delivery Director the Community & Risk Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Develop and manage strategies aimed at minimising vehicle vandalism and theft across schemes
  • Establish standard plans and approaches
  • Set up and liaise with a network of stakeholders through research and local engagement
  • Working with the Operations Service Centre develop, track, and maintain reporting of statistical and written analysis of user threats, incidents and investigations for management review.
  • Run data analysis and present the findings as required using various data reporting software
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with law enforcement and any relevant public safety departments
  • Set up outreach programmes, representing Beryl at community events, speaking to the general public and providing assistance to our customer base. Provide our Marketing and Growth team support during team events.
  • Work across Marketing/Sales, Policy and Operations to coordinate all community engagement across our schemes
  • Support the Marketing Communications and Ops teams with any outward correspondence via social media and internal comms.

Experience & Skills

  • Ability to identify risk and define mitigation measures
  • Have an excellent eye for detail
  • Be proactive
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo, innovate and introduce new ideas.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated note keeping, report writing and presentation ability
  • An understanding of how to manage, present and manipulate data.
  • Comfortable liaising with law enforcement/local authorities
  • Ability to communicate investigative findings to key stakeholders
  • Ability to establish and perform risk assessments
