An industry leading D&B fit out contractor who provide complete workplace consultancy, from a single office relocation, design and fit-out, to workspace planning, refurbishment and interior branding on a global scale are on the market seeking a People Advisor to support their Head of People.

Role overview

They believe their people are our key asset. They are looking for a passionate and driven People Advisor to support our business in an exciting expansion process.

Continue to develop an efficient HR Service that is easily accessible to all employees and that will support future business growth.

Reporting to the Head of People, the People Advisor will pay a pivotal role in helping to build an inclusive, high performing and employee centric culture.


The People Advisor will be involved in all aspects of HR operations with the opportunity to take on project work as part of our focus on continually improving processes and ways of working to provide an optimal employee experience.

The role will pick up recruitment, onboarding, induction of new joiners, benefit administration, learning and development, talent management and employee relations.


Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations and generalist

  • Develop innovative people initiatives and provide guidance on day to day operations
  • Write up contracts, offer letters, outcome of probation review letters, salary review and bonus confirmation letters and references.
  • Review our reward and recognition schemes to help drive attraction and retention of our people.
  • Track staff absence and support managers in monitoring levels
  • Play a key role in promoting and setting up the Training Academy
  • Support marketing with our internal communications to ensure they are effective and in line with our culture and company values.
  • Play a key role in our Health and Wellbeing and Diversity and Inclusion committees. Supporting Marketing with key events relating to this throughout the year.
  • Take minutes in ER Meetings
  • Undertake research and proactively monitor changes in wider employment legislation and act as organisational resource to ensure best practice is adopted.
Recruitment and onboarding

  • Manage the recruitment spreadsheet logging all vacancies, CV's and feedback
  • Update recruitment agencies with new job roles and schedule in interviews
  • Work with Marketing to utilise LinkedIn and other platforms
  • Support with implementing and facilitating the endtoend employee lifecycle from
onboarding, tracking of performance appraisal data, supporting in probationary reviews, processing leavers and conducting exit interviews.

  • Review our onboarding processes for new starters from offer stage through to completion of probation.
  • Carry out HR inductions for all new joiners and manage and track all probationary reviews.
Ongoing project work

  • Support the Head of People with key projects throughout the year. May include but not limited to, appraisal process, Learning and Development, Training Academy, Graduate recruitment and succession pathways.
  • Support in the implementation of the People System.
  • Develop and implement a range of employment policies and procedures designed to supplement and enhance existing policy.
  • Project plan the review of existing employment policies in order to introduce updated guidance annually when needed or prior to our ISO9001 audit.
Essential Skills & Experience

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified or relevant experience
  • Passionate and approachable people professional
  • Proven HR generalist experience at an operational level
  • Used or implemented HRIS
  • Use to working within a fast passed, ever changing environment where nothing is a problem
  • Ability to influence stakeholders
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills excellent attention to detail
  • Good time management ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Energy, drive and 'can do' attitude is essential demonstrates initiative
