Manual Horizontal Borer:
Permanent position,

Location:
Ashton-under-Lyne

Salary:
up to £15 p/hour.

Subcontract Medium to Heavy engineering Well Established company, 20 years trading experience. Day and Night shifts available

Days:
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. 1pm finish on a Friday

Overtime available. Paid at time and a third, expected minimum 11 hours overtime per week.

Bonus scheme:
Based on Health and Safety, paid every 6 months.

Weekly Pay. Pension 5% Employer. 3% employee. Training available.

A specialist engineering business based in the Ashton area are looking for a Time Served Horizontal Borer to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Borer or an individual with a Millers background to join a well-run and an established company who are in a period of growth.

Essential Skills and Experience for the Horizontal Borer role

Medium or Large Engineering in a Sub-Contact environment preferred.
Experience as Miller or Horizontal Borer
Must be able to work to tight tolerances and work under own initiative.
Be able to set machines and work to issued drawings and specifications.
One off and small batch work. Working with various materials steels and stainless steel.

Preference is time-served and/or skilled to a high level.

37 Hours per week

Mon
Thurs 8.00am to 4:30pm 30 min lunch break
Fri 8.00am to 1.00pm (no lunch break)

Location:
Ashton-under-Lyne

Salary:
up to £15p/h depending on skills and experience

Overtime:
Friday after 1pm and weekends is available.
